Wander, Wandering

Until Dezember 18th, São Paulo Museum of Modern Art (MAM-SP) will host the biennial exhibition Panorama da Arte Brasileira (Brazilian Art Panorama).

With the curatorship by Cauê Alves and Cristina Tejo, the exhibition will host around 40 artists and organizes itself around the topic Wander, Wandering (Itinerários, Itinerâncias). The idea came up through the curators’ perspective of the contemporary artists’ over time and the implicit displacements in a current artistic circle of exhibitions and holdings.

In addition to the exhibition, Panorama will also host a Movie Festival. Acácio will close the program, alongside KFZ-1348, by Marcelo Pedroso and Gabriel Mascaro.

Along the months of October and November, the Exhibition also showed many current movies, such as the short film Passage, also produced by Teia, by Clarissa Campolina and Helvécio Marins Jr, Ex-it, by Cao Guimarães, and The Residents, by Tiago Mata Machado. Among the selected work at the MAM’s Grande Sala is Crossing for Bronze, by Pablo Lobato, also a member of Teia.
