The year passed brought many good memories. I remember the trip to the festival Visions du Réel, in Nyon, Switzerland. In it’s last edition, the Festival dedicated a special program to my films and I taught a workshop with my friend Jenny Bileter. Another unforgettable retrospective took place in Maputo, Mozambique, during the Dockanema Festival. Pedro Pimenta and his team provided beautiful exhibitions and meetings.
In Brazil, Acácio and Like water through stone were released on DVD by Lume Filmes, were distributed to hundreds of cities and had their national TV premiere at Canal Brasil. We also finished four episodes of the series Pathways, alongside Ivo Lopes Araújo, Gustavo Fioravanti and Bernard Machado.
Other projects are in development and Teia holds many surprises for 2012, when we celebrate 10 years together.
Now, a summer break.
