This year’s Documentary Film Festival of Mozambique counts with three films by Marília Rocha.

The Museum of Ethnography of Neuchâtel, in Switzerland, is going to show Aboio, on April 14th. The exhibition is a part of the Bruits (Noises) exposition that intends to discuss how human societies perceive their own sound productions.

I’ve got this picture of Aboio from the shelves of a DVD rental in Rio from my friends Mari Pinheiro and Tatiana Leite.

From December 7th to 9th, three Brazilian films will be screened at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum, as part of the Contemporary Brazilian Film Festival. The screenings are free and open to the public.

It’s a great pleasure to announce that my first film, Aboio (2005), has been released in DVD.
