Giving importance to international independent films, the Festival Cine//B presents more than 700 films in Santiago, Chile, from the 04th to the 13th of November.

After the première in movie theaters, Acácio and Like water through stone will be simultaneously programmed with a thousand copies in a Brazilian network of film societies.

Like water through stone will be shown at the Cultural Center from São Paulo, taking part of the “Teenager Movies” (Cinema Adolescente) exhibition, which takes place between the 1^st and 9^th of October. With curatorship by Célio Franceschet, the exhibition displays a variety of movies made in the years 1990 and 2000, which are about the teenager theme and esthetic.

Last week, we finished shipping the movies to the premiere at film societies. A thousand participants are already getting the DVDs, postcards and posters.

In a room crammed with packages, it was touching to see the names of cities so far away, some of which I had never heard of, and where the movies are arriving just now.

Daily, our team has been receiving super thoughtful messages about the arrival of the kits and the films programs.

This alternative distribution campaign proves itself very effective precisely because it is an efficient collaborative work. It is a group effort and we get the opportunity to have a close contact between the various poles of distributors.
